FAQ
Some frequently asked questions our previous customers have had are...

A: Our Stairways have no gap larger than 4 inches anywhere on the stairway.  Some of our photos where taken pre code requirement of the cross bar located between the treads. This crossbar is put between the treads so a child can not climb the stairway and crawl between the treads.  This crossbar is standard on all the stairs we build today.

A: Call Dolly at 623.581.9211 she will guide you through our process, Nathan will come to your home and measure and layout so you know exactly where your spiral stairway will start and stop at the top and bottom.  A 50% down payment is required, it takes roughly 2 to 3 weeks for us to manufacture your spiral stairway and to complete your spiral stairway.  At completion the final 50%  is required thank you.

A: Well the main reason is to gain easy and safe access.  Another great reason is that is adds value to your house, a $2,500 investment could get you $15,000 more to the value of your home by adding to the usable square footage of your home.

A: Nathan recommends painting your spiral stairway the same color as the body of your house to blend in or paint it the trim color of the house to contrast and stand out.  Nathan also recommends Mesa Tan by Dunn & Edwards, this color is the same color as dust and stays cleaner looking for longer periods of time.  FYI If you have us paint your stairway black it will show every spec of dust and dirt and it will look dirty very quickly.  Powder Coat? We DO NOT Powder Coat our Stairways because it is very costly and you will be walking on the treads, they will scratch and you will have to paint them eventually, it is difficult to match paint to the powder coating colors so we save the cost and hassle and just paint them with the best Dunn&Edwards oil based paint available.

A: Yes, we sure do for $200 we will provide your city inspector with stamped engineering for our spiral stairways to get you through the permit process.
